Nature inspires my work. I then stylize the forms, sometimes creating a new flower variety, yet always playing with colors to obtain a vibrant result. Each piece is unique and hand-built, made with porcelain clay that is hi-fired in an oxidation/electric kiln. At times I mix in stain to color the clay body for a special effect.

The flowers are decorative and vary in size. Some work is more abstract and sculptural, such as the pieces inspired by sand roses and corals that you will see when you browse the Sculptural album in my eGallery.
